Product Manager – current accounts and cards
Delivering the targets for the business, including forecasting, regular monitoring of performance, analysis of the key underlying financial drivers.
Identifying any issues in the financial plan and implementing initiatives to address any areas of under performance.
Managing the technical structure of our current account products to ensure our products continue to work in the way we and our customers expect them to, and that any changes we make are implemented effectively.
Supporting development of our credit card product to ensure it continues to provide a competitive advantage for the Group.
Contributing to defining the overall strategy for the Current Accounts Product & Card products (debit & credit).
Working with key stakeholders (e.g., marketing, customer engagement team, finance, IT, credit risk, other product areas), and with our channels (telephone banking, the branch network, internet) to make sure we deliver all of the above as efficiently as possible.
Knowledge and Skills Required: Understanding of basic product financials and process concepts
Good analytical skills, ability to work in multi-project, multi tasking environment
Good communication skills (verbal and written) in English and excellent presentation skills
High level of accuracy, initiative and creative problem solving
Experience and training:University or College degree in economics/business/finance
Minimum 2 years banking experience
