Fintech innovation rewarded: TBI Bank receives IT project of the Year award

At TBI Bank we embrace innovation and are committed to providing our customers and partners with quick services at the highest quality. It sounds like a cliché – same goes for our ability to think globally and be adaptive to the IT challenges of the new fintech world. But sometimes the clichés are real, and sometimes we turn them into stardust.

This was the case yesterday when TBI Bank was awarded IT project of the Year in banking for the Payment Hub – an automated system for payments. We developed it for the companies in our group – 4finance’s business in Finland, Latvia, Lithuania, and Spain. Winning this significant banking award in a tough competition with some of the major players on the market is a blast – and a huge recognition for our Payments and IT teams and their global mindset.

So what kind of a problem is our Payment Hub solving, you might ask? Since TBI Bank offers quick euro transactions, 4finance’s customers could receive the approved loans in their bank accounts in real time. It is a fully automated process, allowing us to minimise human intervention and operational risk. In short, the Payment Hub is a synonym for effectiveness and profitability since its Return on Investment reached 200% within only 10 months. It is built on a complicated system of IT solutions, but let’s not bore you with them.
